Scouts work on Medicine Merit Badge

We've never worked on the Medicine Merit Badge, and we're very appreciative for our counselor, Katie Hall. The Scouts "learned a lot" from her presentation. Scouts had accomplished the volunteer portion of the merit badge by participating in the Feed My Starving Children event in Hawley earlier in the month (see previous articles). Katie, an internal medicine doctor working in Fargo, brought some cool equipment and the Scouts were able to get some hands-on experience with a few of the items.
